Rupal and Krish met during their freshman year at the University of Illinois through a mutual friend. They dated for seven years before Krish planned a surprise proposal at Olive Park, captured by Elle Taylor Photography!
How I Proposed
Krish says: “I told Rupal we were having a picnic in the park with friends and that we would be going on a boat after the picnic. While we were “waiting for our friends” to arrive, I suggested we take pictures. In an attempt to be a good “Instagram boyfriend,” I asked her to turn around so I can take a cool, artistic picture of her and the Chicago skyline. When she turned back around to look at the picture I had supposedly taken, I was down on one knee.”
