Julie and Steve’s Greenhouse Loft wedding features the most spectacular greenery installations from Ashland Addison Events and a fabulous photo booth wall created by the bride and her wedding planner, Nicole of Storybook Weddings & Events.
How We Met
We met at my best friends wedding, i actually caught her bouquet that night! I was maid of honor and he was a friend of the grooms. Both were in our wedding.
The Proposal
Steve planned a trip to Tulum, Mexico for my Christmas present. We went in February and he proposed on the beach the 3rd night we were there!
The Wedding Vision
I wanted it to be casual, fun and a little boho. Tons of greens, lots of white and light and endless spritz and cocktails!
We didn’t have a religious ceremony, but still wanted it to be incredibly meaningful. For that reason, we asked one of our best friends to officiate the ceremony and we each wrote our own vows. It was absolutely perfect and authentic to us!

The Details
I made the water jug table numbers, and my planner, Nicole of Storybook Weddings & Events, helped me create an awesome boxwood escort card wall that doubled as a photo booth backdrop. Planning each and every aspect of my wedding made it so much more meaningful, and walking into the venue to see all of my ideas brought to life honestly took my breath away!
Wedding Planning Advice
Make decisions that are true to you! Don’t worry about what your guests, or random people on Instagram and Facebook will see and think of your wedding pictures, venue, etc. Avoid anything too trendy, and find things that will forever remind you of the best day of your life.
