The Proposal

“Brenton surprised me with a date night at one of our favorite Italian restaurants, Riccardo Enoteca. He proposed when we got home (he knew I didn’t want it to happen in public) and we celebrated with cannoli’s!” –Marni

The Wedding Vision

“We have been to a lot of weddings and we knew that we wanted ours to feel different. Our vision was modern and sleek, focusing on great food, music and a unique space that everyone would enjoy. We were drawn to Chicago Winery since it was a new downtown venue that fit our style perfectly.” –Marni

Honoring Family

“It was important to us to honor our family who is no longer with us. The prayer shawl that we were standing under for our Chuppah was my late father’s and I had items of my dad’s and grandmother’s sewn into the pockets of my dress. I wore jewelry that belonged to both of Brenton’s grandmothers and he wore his grandfather’s necklace. We also used his grandfather’s prayer shawl during the ceremony.

My sister explained the significance of everything during our ceremony and it was very special to have them all represented.” –Marni
