Nancy and Mac really wanted to show off the best of summertime Chicago and fuse many cultures together under one roof for a magical night. They chose the University Club, rich with history and architectural charm, for their ceremony and reception. “We always dreamt of a downtown Chicago wedding in a venue rich with history and architectural charm – once we saw the grand hall we knew the University Club was a perfect fit for us. We had guests traveling from all over the world to celebrate with us – Australia, Canada, Lebanon, Sweden and all across the U.S. – so we really wanted to show off the best of summertime Chicago and fuse many cultures together under one roof for a magical night.” — Mac

“Our favorite memory of the night was the drum entrance, which is a wedding tradition in Nancy’s Assyrian and Lebanese cultures, but something new for Mac’s side. Having both of our families and friends sharing in an epic entrance: dancing around us, lifting us up and cheering us on was a special experience for us, one we’ll never forget.” — Mac
Our Favorite Details
There are so many beautiful details that came together thanks to Clementine Custom Events. The florals for the ceremony by Tea Rose Flower Shop played perfectly into the vibes of the reception that was brought to life by Juliet Tan Floral Design. We love when vendors not only bring the vision to life, but execute so perfectly that it’s something out of your dreams!
