Tara and Connor’s fall nuptials at Revel Motor Row encompassed the essence of Autumn and had many special touches that were meaningful to the couple. Jake & Kylee Photo & Video were there every step of the way with the couple and captured the beauty and memories from the day that Anticipation Events coordinated beautifully.
The Proposal
“Connor got down on a knee first thing in the morning in our apartment because he couldn’t hide it any longer. We then walked to grab coffee and stroll through our local farmer’s market, where Connor bought me some beautiful flowers. We grabbed lunch at a pizza spot where we could watch the Wisconsin vs. Notre Dame football game – all while Connor’s family decorated the rooftop at our apartment. That evening, Connor asked if I wanted to go up to our rooftop for a toast, and I was surprised by many of our loved ones for an engagement party.”-Tara
Their Wedding Vision
“Our wedding vision was wanting to celebrate part of the day outside, wanting
our guests to enjoy themselves (i.e., convenient logistics, lively dance floor,
good food/drink), and keeping decor relatively natural and simple. Otherwise,
we were just happy to be getting married surrounded by family and friends. We
may have been able to make decisions a little bit quicker if we had a more
detailed vision than this.”-Tara & Connor

“Anticipation Events, the vendor we sourced for month-of coordination, was absolutely incredible. Our specific coordinator (and the owner of the company), Elizabeth, made us feel so at ease,
from answering any random questions leading up to the big day, to being thorough and organized with the timeline and logistics, to seamlessly executing day-of details, to ensuring everyone (guests, wedding party, venue, us!) knew what to do and when on the big day.
The Chicago Players, our wedding band, brought an amazing performance that was a highlight of our night and was by far the most complimented aspect of our wedding.
