The Love Story
“We met on New Years day while celebrating with friends. I remember I was talking with my friend when I noticed a really handsome guy across from me and we made eye contact briefly, but he definitely caught my eye. I remember everyone at the party was doing the count down and after we drank our glasses of champagne that’s when everyone shared a ‘New Years kiss’. I would say 5 minutes later I see a drink slide in front of me and I heard “Hey, how are you doing?” I turned to side and I saw it was Him, “My name is Beethoven” and I could recall the two things that stood out the most with him- it was his deep Haitian accent and his gorgeous smile. The Proposal
“I had found I was pregnant and we were both surprised and excited. We went to our first ultrasound appointment for our son and I was confused why all the nurses were so excited. As we were waiting, he gave me this beautiful speech how we were entering a new part of our lives and how he wanted to spend the rest of his life with us(me & baby). Before I knew it, he pulled out a ring. I would say within minutes, four nurses came into the room with so much excitement and asked “did she say YES?!”. Haha he had orchestrated the proposal with the nurses and our OB, to give him enough time to propose before the appointment started. They were all waiting outside the door, I found that so sweet. It wasn’t at all how I dreamed my proposal to me, but I love it because it was very intimate and it was something Beethoven would do. Meaningful. 3. What are your wedding plans? We have decided to do a small intimate wedding with just us and our son in 2023, and at a later date throw a larger ceremony with our family and friends. I am a nursing student, so planning my dream wedding at the moment would be too overwhelming.”-Terez

We constantly say that we love knowing that we are here for each other, our engagement shows a big sign of commitment and we are in this together. So I would say, the feeling of having someone by your side and ready to take on life with you is the best feeling. Plus our beautiful son, Zion has made grow closer than ever before.
