Stunning Chicago History Museum Wedding with Pops of Color

There’s something so timeless about a stunning Chicago History Museum wedding! The pops of color that were incorporated into the elegant black and white atmosphere are *chef’s kiss*! Shannon Gail Weddings in collaboration with HMR Designs knocked this day out of the park. AMM Photography captures this day for the new Mr. & Mrs. in ways that bring you right to that very moment!

Memorable Moments

Katie and Mike had a non-traditional ceremony. They had already been legally married before they were able to celebrate with their family and friends, so they decided to make a moment out of the vow renewal.

“Since we were already married, the ceremony was not traditional and we came in to renew our vows after a video of the actual ceremony played. After not seeing so many family and friends for over a year it was incredible to be welcomed with cheering, applause and palpable feeling of love from everyone we care about.” Katie and Mike

Our Favorite Details

Every design element that was brought forward by talented vendors came together so beautifully for this day. We love the wood tables and chairs up against the classic white interior details. The juxtaposition of these two elements really adds a coziness to the Chicago History’s Museum’s classic ballroom. The soft uplighting by Frost Chicago was the perfect addition to create that ambiance.

Katie’s classic bridal look next to Mike’s plaid bowtie shows off the couple’s personal tastes. Bianca Sansosti Artistry brought to life the quintessential classic bridal hair and makeup beauty.

We can’t get enough of the florals and decor that were added to the stage of Arlen Music Productions. It truly brings the design full circle! Tying that into the stationary designs by Designs by Angelika and you’ve got yourself one wedding that did not miss a beat!
