The Proposal Story
“We were pandemic newlyweds. Cody had planned to propose right around my birthday in April. He and my sister planned this whole surprise birthday party/engagement party here in the city at Kaiser Tiger. But things quickly changed when the world went into lockdown mode.
A month before my birthday, I was studying for my Series 7 for work, when Cody told me to come into the living room. Of course I was in study mode so stopping was not something I wanted to do. I opened the door into our living room and the entire floor was filled with rose pedals and music in the background. The next thing I remember was Cody getting down on one knee and then it happened. I completely blacked out. He likes to tell me that all I said while crying when he asked me to marry him was, “OKAY.”
He had my girlfriends make recordings to show me right after everything and to be honest, I was still blacked out so I don’t even remember those. Needless to say, it was absolutely perfect!”

The Wedding Vision
“Honestly, the moment we stepped into TACS Stables, we knew right away we wanted to build our wedding vision around the venue. It’s such an incredible venue that we didn’t want to change a thing and take away from how amazing it was. Everything we had was clean and simple.
I knew right away that I wanted an all clear tent with long tables full of greenery and tall candles [Glorious Blooms]. TACS Stables was just so homey and comfortable that I wanted to make sure the tent felt the same way.”
