The Proposal

“Tiff took me downtown Chicago for our second annual Christmas in the city.  We wanted to live it up, so we stayed at the Park Hyatt, ate at Nomi restaurant, and even booked a ride in a horse drawn carriage.  It was in that carriage, riding along Michigan Avenue amidst the snow and Christmas lights, that Tiff announced to me that she had one more gift for me.  She pulled out a box and inside was a toy ring, something silly we had been joking about for weeks.  I laughed it off and thanked her, when she pulled the real ring out of her pocket and proposed for real.  It was surreal and I was so stunned she had to say it again!  I happily said yes and the carriage driver pulled over so we could get some photos.  We went back to Nomi for a celebratory champagne toast.  The evening was magical and something I’ll never forget.” -Lori & Tiff

The Wedding Vision

“We had an adventure theme, so everything revolved around that idea.  We had place cards that were luggage tags attached to a giant map of the world.  Every tag was in a specific country, and every table was that country.  We had custom signs made for each table, favors including little planes and parcel boxes, and even had a old time suitcase filled with old postcards for guests to write down their advice for our marriage adventure.  Carnivale was the perfect place to realize this dream.  They let us have the entire place so we were able to spread out and stay safe for guests.  It was beyond perfect.”-Lori & Tiff
