A Popping Vision
Lakeshore in Love is always looking to provide inspiration to Chicagoland couples. We wanted to produce a styled photoshoot that allowed for colors to pop without it coming off as a kids birthday party. How do you bring in blues, pinks, oranges yellows, but still make it elegant and pretty? This shoot is it! The amazingly talented vendor team came together and produced the exact vision for those who are striving for color in an elegant way! The wedding statement is made with your stationary off the bat, so Caroline of Lina Lulu Paperie, created an invitation suite to set the stage! The soft touches of romance play into the idea of bringing in color in a way that just makes sense! We specifically love the envelope liner that brings forward the florals that are to come! This carried through into the vow books and signage seen throughout the shoot.
The Beauty of it All
Keeping true to the playfulness of this style, the dress and beauty of the bride was important. To keep in line with the more carefree attitude, Gilded Rose Atelier provided gowns that fed into the vibes. The two dresses were perfect for movement and summer fun! A trend we’re noticing picking up is the idea of a ceremony dress and then an outfit change for a reception or party dress! We’re especially fans of the shoulder detailing that creates a fun veil effect! Milian Bonillo Beauty rounded out the looks with soft updos and statement hair pieces. The soft makeup look allows for the entire ensemble to shine and take center stage! We just can’t get enough of this entire vibe!
Full Circle Moment
Consistency in a wedding design is important. When Wedicity was developing the style with pieces from Tablescapes Event Rentals, picking out pieces that were complimentary yet statement making was the balancing game. This is true when planning and designing any event. The gorgeous florals, by Aysel Cristian Floral Atelier, were giving main character energy. From the ceremony arch showcasing large blooms to the modern centerpieces on the guest table, the florals were meant to be the shining star of the shoot. With that in mind, rentals were selected that could fall to the background, but still stand alone on their own.
It’s a Vibe
You know the saying, “it always comes back around” when people refer to trends? Well. The champagne tower is BACK and it is taking the reception by storm! We’re so excited for this classic to make its comeback. A cake cutting typically kicks off the evening, so we had to incorporate what would be the centerpiece of the party! Cake Chicago outdid themselves with this abstract art masterpiece of a cake! The colors perfectly align with the vision of the design and to say it brought everything together is an understatement. An idea for you 2023/2024 couples; after your cake cutting, make a grand kick-off to the evening by filling that champagne tower! Nothing quite says LFG like overflowing bubbly! Treat your guests with a specialty cocktail as well to really keep the party going! Butter and Vine created a speciality cocktail that lived in the color scheme of our design palette. Custom drinks are always something that can be developed for you and your partner’s day!
