Hauntingly Beautiful Halloween Wedding Inspiration

The Inspiration

“Once upon an autumn dreary, a gothic Halloween wedding was brewed up and a dream team of vendors was conjured to put these hauntingly beautiful details together within the aged walls of Chicagoland’s own Evil Intentions Haunted House in Elgin. Deep reds and rich shades of burgundy were prominent in the florals, where the ivory accents made their presence known against Lexie’s black bridal gown from Alexis Kay Bridal. While the dark and moody aesthetic of the venue didn’t necessarily need any assistance in being stunning, our team brought in luscious red linens and black dishes that were displayed with antique glassware and silverware. Little hints of gold on the dishes, décor, and stationary added a hint of elegance to the eerie presentation. The black wedding cake (Sugar on Top Bake Shop), which was displayed atop an original casket, was inspired by an eerie fog that one may find rolling along and rising from the ground through a cemetery at night. The handcrafted stationary (Dip, Script & Watercolor) was a flawless collection of burgundy watercolors with gorgeous gold and black calligraphy and detailing. Natural crystals were mixed in with the details for that extra spellbinding touch, and hand poured candles were set out for guests to take their own touch of magic home.”-Vendor Team
