Gianna always dreamed of a romantic winter wedding, so it was a dream to receive a soft blanket of snow the evening before she and Tony married at Lombard’s The Carlisle! Michelle Durpetti Events and Yanni Design Studio styled a glamorous white and gold reception, giving the ballroom an ethereal and magical feel. The Proposal
Tony planned a surprise party for my 27th birthday with all of our friends and family at Ballydoyle in Downers Grove. He hired our favorite comedian, Rocky LaPorte from NBC’s Last Comic Standing, to perform at the party. When Rocky’s set was almost over, he had one last joke for Gianna. It was a knock-knock joke:

Who’s there?
Mary
Mary who?
How bout this guy? As Tony got down on one knee.
