The Inspiration
“We wanted to focus on making it feel non-performative and communal, while also having our aesthetic. We tend towards autumnal colors in our other styling choices, so having it in October facilitated that easily. We did not come into wedding planning with clear ideas about specific choices we wanted to make, more specific feelings we wanted to convey.”

“The mariachi band was fabulous and especially important because Victor’s grandparents had been mariachis for many years.
During the ceremony, our celebrant had us look out at our guests and take it all in for a few moments, which was a really powerful.”
