The Proposal
Lana and Davis were back in Colorado for a ski trip with their friends and Davis suggested they take a nostalgic walk around CU’s campus. She had a sneaking suspicion that he was going to propose so naturally, she prepared a thank you card to hand to him directly after. They walked around beautiful, snowy campus talking and reminiscing. When they reached the Farrand Field arch, Davis got on one knee and asked Lana to marry him. She said yes over and over. He hired a photographer to capture the moment, so they had a ton of fun shooting pictures and having a snowball fight after. Lana felt so thankful that Davis started their next chapter right where their story began, and he loved the thank you card she prepared for him. That evening they celebrated with their friends at none other then Illegal Pete’s, and then spent the rest of the weekend skiing in Crested Butte. It was a truly magical time.

Favorite Memories
Davis walked down the aisle to a string quarter version of Shake It Off by Taylor Swift. Hearing that music come on while I was still behind the curtain gave me the best jolt of butterflies. I couldn’t stop smiling and laughing. I knew in that moment that marrying him meant a lifetime of pure, exquisite joy.
We spent cocktail hour in our own room with a private appetizer spread and champagne. Having an hour to decompress in between the ceremony and reception was wonderful. We practiced our first dance and had a 10 minute magic show with a magician, who spent the rest of his time out on the terrace with the guests.
