How They Met
“Josh and I met at work! I was working on the HR team and on-boarded Josh when he started his new role at Bosch. Quite risque, we know :). I thought Josh was so handsome, and I tried dropping hints his way, like personally walking over new hire paperwork to his desk so that we can talk. Since I was in HR, I did not want to break any rules, so we officially started talking through Bumble when we matched on St. Patricks Day in March 2016. We went on a date THAT night and the rest is history. We were hooked to each other from the first date!” Izabela, Bride

The Wedding Vision
“Bold, meaningful and beautiful. I always knew that I wanted a smaller wedding so that every single guest was intentional and meant to be there to celebrate such a special day. We had that down to a tee, but the decor and vision was a culmination of my love of bold colors. Josh was on board with whatever ideas I had, so that made the whole process that much better.
At the end of the day, the goal was to create a day that we would remember forever, and bold colors are the way to my heart!”
I believe in personalization like no other, so you better believe that our wedding was personalized!
It all started with our wedding invites! Josh’s sister is such a talented artist and has her own small business, Modern Legacy Paper, that creates personalized wax seal stamps, so she created one for us with our last name. Each invite had a Draa wax seal hold everything together!
Our table numbers were pictures of Josh and I as kids, so our guests got to see us go through all of the growth stages.
Our “guest book” was all of the postcards from our travels as a couple, so now we have our loved ones’ wishes on already great memories!” Izabela, Bride.
Planning Advice
“Enjoy the process. I know that is so cliche, but the day really does fly by! There are going to be moments that are absolutely stressful and you are going to fight, but remember that this a special day and it’s about the both of you. Always treat each other with respect, especially when you feel like the tensions are way too high.
Remember to take a step back during the day and soak in all of the love and happiness that you’re surrounded by! It really is the special moment that everyone talks about.” Izabela, Bride
