Our Love Story
We met in a Starbucks on Michigan Avenue. Standing in line waiting for orders, Chantal decided to make the first move. A few weeks later, our first date was to the Field museum, Piece pizzeria, and Mindy’s hot chocolate.
The weather on the day of our proposal was beautiful day. Chantal planned a date to the Shedd Aquarium a few hours before closing time. I asked her to meet me at the Field Museum instead. She kept saying “We’ve seen everything in there, let’s go to the Shedd,” not knowing what I had planned. Before walking over to me, I set up my iPhone video to capture the proposal. I proposed on the steps where we met for the first date.

A Brunch Wedding at the Langham
Our wedding vision was very simple and low stress. We wanted colors that popped in the photos, so we selected a burgundy and navy color palette. With the help of our vendors and hotel staff at The Langham, everything looked elegant. Our group of Chicago wedding vendors couldn’t have made it any easier!
