Versailles Meets Chicago: French Rococo Wedding Inspiration

We might all wish we could fly away to Versailles for a Parisian soiree, but we’ve got the next best thing: the stunning Cuneo Mansion! This simply incredible wedding inspiration shoot from Victoria C Photos features a rococo theme with feathers, butterflies, and vibrant colors. And in true Parisian fashion, spectacular gowns from Veronica Sheaffer! Prepare to be transported to the City of Light!

The Inspiration

This Chicago wedding photo shoot was inspired by 18th century France rococo, and a painting called “The Happy Accidents of the Swing” by Jean-Honoré Fragonard.

The Venue

Cuneo Mansion in Vernon Hills is the Versailles of Chicago. The building is pink, and surrounded by gardens decorated with statues and fountains. Everything inside is meticulously preserved from the gold leaf bathroom to the original Tiffany china in the kitchen. The delicate chandelier that hangs in the breakfast room will remind you of Marie Antoinette’s Petit Trianon in Versailles. It’s what fairy tales are made of!
