Lakeshore in Love partnered with Goldplaited to create a photo shoot featuring the most adorable adoptable pups from One Tail at a Time. This amazing rescue works tirelessly with the goal of making Chicago the next no-kill city. Their annual Houndstooth Ball raises funds to rescue hundreds of Chicago’s neediest animals, and the 10th annual Houndstooth Ball is on November 30th! Grab your tickets now (pooches too!) and don’t forget to book your hair and makeup with Goldplaited, who will donate a portion of the proceeds back to One Tail at a Time! The precious pups and beautiful ladies were all captured by the incredible Tuan B & Co.
We spent the day with four perfectly precious adoptable pups from One Tail at a Time: Buster, Neve, Mya, and Lena. These four were total rock stars, and absolute loves. They totally stole our hearts (scroll down for the most incredible story!)
Working with FlowersFlowers, we set out to highlight the adorable adoptable pups by creating a whimsical scene in the color palette of this year’s One Tail at a Time Houndstooth Ball. FiftyFlowers supplied a stunning mix of garden roses, ranunculus, and greenery, and the FlowersFlowers team creating magic with a floating flower backdrop, gorgeous centerpiece, and spectacular flower crowns and collars! Chic tabletop rentals and chairs from Tablescapes and a textured linen from Windy City Linen completed the look.
Logan Square’s light-filled Greenhouse Loft set the stage!
Our models spent the morning getting glammed at Goldplaited. We were so honored to partner with Goldplaited to produce this shoot. Don’t forget to book your appointment now for the One Tail at a Time Houndstooth Ball – they’ll donate a portion of the proceeds back to One Tail at a Time!
Jenny Yoo gowns in shades of blue and yellow perfectly complemented the setting.
Photo Shoot Turns into Adoption!
On the day of our shoot, Alexis and baby Lena fell head over heels in love with each other. They even matched outfits on-set – fate, I tell ya!
Alexis put in an adoption application the very next day, and Lena (now Piper) found her forever home! A perfect ending to a perfect shoot.
