The Bride and Groom Look
Hair by Smash and Tricia Clarke Makeup hit home runs with their stunning Britt Eckland-inspired Mod stylings. A gown from White Dress Boutique feels timeless with its combination of a modern silhouette coupled with classic floral lace embellishments. Colorful amber yellow touches, such as block heel pumps and embellished starburst earrings, added a mod touch and perfectly complemented the floral arch design and bouquet’s velvet ribbon. A bolo tie featuring aqua details accented the groom’s classic black suit.

The Tabletop
We instantly fell in love with the Mid-Century aqua Viking Wheat dishware found at Relics Vintage Rentals. We used the wheat elements of the dishware as inspiration for our signage by R Plus Ink Calligraphy as well as the cake created by Cake Lady Designs. To round out the table, we added a few eclectic retro touches using a Wes Anderson-esque muted, film-like color palette. This included aqua lanterns, Mid-Century clocks, and gorgeous amber Fenton bubble glassware. Special shout out to Carly of Ever After Wisconsin for creating the gorgeously colorful Jello salad, the perfect ’60s touch! For the florals, the Milwaukee Flower Co. did an amazing job of capturing the whimsy vibe with beautiful, locally grown poppies, calla lilies, garden roses, and hand-painted greenery.
